This September, NARAL Pro-Choice America announced its endorsement of Dave Mooney as State Representative for the 120th Assembly District.

In May the Stratford DTC met at the Baldwin Center and announced support for member Dave Mooney in his bid to unseat incumbent State Representative John Harkins, R-120.

Fairfield County DFA, which meets monthly in Norwalk, Connecticut, is the local chapter of the nation-wide activist organization. DFA is focused on supporting fiscally responsible and socially progressive candidates.

On June 27, 2006, John W. Olsen and the 211,000 members of the Connecticut AFL-CIO endorsed Dave Mooney for State Rep from the 120th District in Stratford.
"This is a real boost," Mooney said. "I am pleased to be endorsed by the AFL-CIO, especially as a first-time candidate. This shows great faith – which I intend to live up to."
Mooney noted that according to the Connecticut AFL-CIO website "More working people than ever say they would join a union if they had a chance."

Love Makes a Family
Love Makes a Family has endorsed Dave Mooney for State Rep from the 120th District in Stratford who has pledged support for full marriage equality. Mooney believes government must protect civil rights for all members of our society.
"It is an honor to be endorsed by such a great organization," Mooney said. "Equal rights for all citizens is not just a goal, it is a fundamental moral requisite. Government should not be insinuating itself into people’s private relationships.
